Hi, I just received a mail from developers telling me that the linux-ppscsi patch for parport is no longer supported. Now I just wanted to know if you have a Redhat 9 system, then how do you make your system detect that there is a parallel port scanner.
PS: Please refrain from telling me to use sane-detect-scanner or xsane since they do not currently support parrallel port scanners. I've tried these options and they do not work because the ppscsi modules and the epst module are not loaded. Any advice please? -- Didier PhD student Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS) 5 Research Link, Singapore 117603 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://ssls.nus.edu.sg -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
