I run my own compiled distribution derived from the Red Hat Advanced Server 2.1 SRPMS. If you run one of the later kernels (2.4.9-e.25) it will work fine with the onboard gigabit on the DL380 G3. These kernels will use the tg3 driver. I have had no stability problems with RHAS 2.1 on Compaq DL380 G3 servers. I assume the official Red Hat version that includes quartely updates will include a more recent kernel which should automatically work with the DL380 G3 gigabit NICs. I build ISOs that include all of the RHAS errata packages. I can confirm these ISOs automatically detect the DL380 G3 gigabit during installation. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
