I have a machine with one disk connected to the on-motherboard
disk controller, and a second data disk connected to a separate
controller on a plug-in PCI card.
Up thru 2.4.19 and 2.4.20 this worked just fine. I didnt do
ANYTHING and the controller for the PCI card 'was there' and I
could access the 2nd disk at boot time.
With 2.4.21 *and* 2.6.0-test1 this is not the case. When the
kernel loads there is no signs of the 2nd disk. On the other
hand I dont see any indications of any problems...
So I *assume* that there is some new option I must turn on, but
Ive looked and dont see anything.
Can anyone help? What am I missing in the later kernels?
