Hi!

I have the same problem!
Seems like the new sshd segfaults when authenticating using pam_krb5.
I posted a message about this a couple of days ago, but no replies so far.

I down-graded to the previous version of openssh.

Hello,

After applying "Advisory ID RHSA-2003:222-01, Updated openssh packages" it
looks like user authentication via Kerberos has been broken. Logging on via
console still validates users correctly via Kerberos, but when using ssh it
does not function any more. After entering the username, no password can be
entered because after a long time the session times out before showing the
password dialog. Only usernames with an id >=500 are validated via Kerberos,
so I am able to logon as root but this is of course very disturbing for our
users.

<ip number>
Aug 7 11:45:18 tonga sshd[19241]: Cannot release PAM authentication[4]:
System error

Any ideas how to correct this, or is Red Hat aware of the problem and
releasing very soon a correct update?

TIA and Cheers,
Andre
