I can read Japanese ok, but I feel more comfortable when the menus, etc.,
are in my native English. Thinking vs non-thinking. :)

I've used ATOK on my Mac before. I find it roughly equivalent to Kotoeri -
the standard Mac input system, because I don't really do anything fancy. I
usually just convert one or two words at a time. I'll check it out though.
