I know what you are talking about with YAST2. I used SuSE for several years and really liked it. I ended up with Red Hat because that seems to be the standard in the US. YAST was a very functional tool that allowed you to do quite a bit. I get frustrated with what seems to be a limitation with RH. I overall like RH but it will be a long time before RH is a usable desktop for average users whereas I see SuSE gaining ground more quickly. DF
