Doug, that would be great, but I have the demos for both Insight Server
and Communigate Pro. (OpenExchange does not appear to have a demo
version, though I have requested one.) Here is what I have found so far.
Insight server does not do a good job in migrating accounts. I chose
just two accounts, mine and my bosses to migrate. It loaded most of my
subfolders, but did not load anything from my inbox. My bosses folder
would not load at all. I followed the instructions from Bynari and used
the ExMerge.exe on the Exchange server in two step mode as directed. So
that isn't working. I have emailed them but as yet have gotten no
response. Obviously, not interested in selling software.
Communigate Pro, v4.1.1 introduced a bug that doesn't allow mailboxes >
2gb. I was told to downgrade to version 4.1. (I told them they sounded
more like M$ putting out a service pack. Whoops!) They use an external
perl script called authMigrate.pl to pull your account over from the
Exchange server on your first login to CGP via their web interface.
However, it just hangs and never even talks to the Exchange server. I
have posted multiple requests for help in their forums, but no help
coming. I have gotten responses, but they were for the 2gb limit,
nothing on the migration issue. (The server can ping the Exchange
server.)
So for the moment, these are both dead issues. I will wait to see if
Suse has a demo or even responds to my request.
