well I learned something today that I am embarrassed to admit.my mailscanner setup was sending replies to all the friggin Sobig mails that got caught be f-prot since I had not added Sobig to the Silent Viruses list in MailScanner.conf
I have peaked at the logs over the last few days but it did not dawn on me that I was contributing to the flood of messages related to this scourge. Those of you running Mailscanner might want to check this if you have not already. I would not have seen this if the worm had not used my address as both the sender and the recipent. Sort of rfreaked me out when I got the mail message from my own server that I had sent a virus (from evolution?)
