I would assume that a telnet server which authenticates against W2K

support to authenticate against W2K/AD, etc.

Try googling for linux pam active directory support (assuming authentication against AD is what you need).

I should add that I wanted the Telnet server to run on RH. Thanks.

Subject: Telnet Server to integrate into Windows 2000/2003 security.

Hello,

I am looking for a telnet server which can be configured to use a
windows 2000/2003 network security to login/authenticate. Does anyone
know of one out there, or does anyone know if it is possible to some how
get RH to do this itself? Please advise.

Thank You,

You want samba. Run rpm -q samba to see if it's installed on your redhat box. If not run up2date -samba to install it. Look at the /etc/samba/smb.conf file. You can set up your W2k domain resources; file shares, printers, home directories using encrypted passwords and also make your linux box share resources as well.
