I'm running Redhat 9 on several systems. I just installed a new system for testing some stuff and started having this problem: [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# rpm --rebuilddb error: db4 error(16) from dbenv->remove: Device or resource busy
Well, it started when I was unable to remove an rpm, so I tried rebuilding the rpmdb. I did some searching and apparently there is/was a bugtrap on this, but that it has been closed even though no real fix is available. That could be incorrect information. I tried moving the rpmdd to /tmp and rebuilding it, but I get the same error. I can rebuild the system in question, but I'm concerned about this happening on my others and what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks, James -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
