One thing I have not been able to
glean from my reading is this: Red Hat 5.0 has several neat tools for
setting up things using programs in X Windows. If I change things using
those tools, are they changed--period? Or do I still have to edit the
various files that are recommended to be edited? This may sound
confusing. I don't know a better way to put it. I am coming from a
DOS/Win background and knew what to do in DOS that Win used, what to do only in
Win, and what to do in both. Is there this same sort of complex set-ups
necessary in Linux?
