I think You should make some changes as below:

   #chmod 600 /dev/ttyUSB*
   -- symlink --
   #/dev/pilot -> /dev/ttyUSB1
   #/dev/palm -> /dev/ttyUSB1
   #/dev/visor -> /dev/ttyUSB1
