Does the 95 machine that or the Redhat machine? What happens when using
telnet you do the following:

telnet your.redhat.machine 110
Trying your.redhat.machine...
Connected to your.redhat.machine.
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK your.redhat.machine POP3 Server (Version 1.005l) ready at <Tue Apr 21
20:08:29 1998>
USER bob
+OK please send PASS command
PASS bob
+OK (too many) messages ready for bob in /var/spool/mail/bob
quit
