Hi Brett, > http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/vhosts/fd-limits.html
Hmmm interesting, don't remember reading about that before but I guess it makes sense. I've got a fairly busy server that serves over 100 virtual hosts as well as DNS, FTP, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, etc etc etc and it's still only using 3764 filehandles out of a listed maximum of 51603. Doesn't look like this will be a problem until you are hosting a **LARGE** number of vhosts. > OF course none of this is tested yet and I may have to punt after I get > into testing tonight. I'd be interested in the results of your testing ;) -- Regards, +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Peter Kiem .^. | E-Mail : <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | | Zordah IT /V\ | Mobile : +61 0414 724 766 | | IT Consultancy & /( )\ | WWW : www.zordah.net | | Internet Services ^^-^^ | ICQ : "Zordah" 866661 | +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ My current spamtrap address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
