Dana - I have run iPlanet/SunOne webserver on the following versions of redhat with no problems:
4sp1-6 6sp1-4 6.1 Its relatively simple to do a fresh install of netscape/iplanet/sunone webserver on the new OS, then simply move over the configs, just move off the originals so as to preserve any new syntax between releases of the webserver. But I can tell you that I have had absolutely no problems migrating the websites I manage from one version of the webserver to another AND from one version of redhat OS to another. Should you need specific help or have questions, please feel free to email me off line and I will provide you any information/help you may need. Our web server is currently running 7.1 with that software - I'd really like to move it up to a more recent version of RH, but don't want to mess it up. The Sun One site really isn't very informative. -- ************************************************************ Dana Holland [EMAIL PROTECTED] 903-875-7355 Navarro College Corsicana, TX http://www.navarrocollege.edu/staff_pages/dana/dana.html ************************************************************ All opinions stated are my own, and probably don't even vaguely resemble those of Navarro College. :) -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
