Doesn't help at all!!! If I build the kernel for Pentium CPU's, everything
works fine, but I still get the banner with i486. The CPUID instruction is
not normaly recognized by the cyrix chips unless you enable this function.
That's why /proc/cpuinfo show me unknown cpu type. Is there any patch for
this thing against kernel 2.0.33 ?
