i dont understand all of this since i installed both 4.1 and 5.0 through ftp 
using ftp.dredhat.com 

'unfortunately' i have a dedicated line at home ... so it was really really
fast 
it took about 30 minutes for a full 395 meg install 

and for the record it works fine you just have to point to the right
directory
