Here is my thoughts and suggestions: It's not a good idea to have many different mailing lists. For example, we have redhat list and hurricane list. Even I am only interested in hurricane, but I'd better subscribe to both lists since they are both informational in some ways. How about only one mailing list: redhat-list? But the first word of the subject in every posted mail must be one of the predefined subject, like commentary, hurricane, kernel, etc The advantages are 1) redhat can refuse any posting with wrong subject. 2) people can filter there redhat-list mail more easily and dynamically 3) when new subject is needed, it's very easy to add for both server and subscribers. Of course there is disadvange, for example, maybe more network traffic. xun BTW, I prefer nothing changed. Freedom is so nice. Sometimes I do like to hear some nonsense or plain commentary. -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
