This may be helpful:
1) Kernel version 2.0.32 (RH5.0) doesn't understand FAT32. A patch to
2.0.33 or higher solves this.
2) From the info given, I think that you need to install LILO onto /dev/hda
3) I can assure you that LILO will boot FAT32 (OSR2) Win95 as well as
Linux as I have that setup running at the moment. With the 2.0.32 kernel
(i.e. the one that doesn't understand FAT32).
4) You can use fdisk to set the partition types, but I don't think that
this is a problem in your case.
