I set up a RedHat machine for some non computer literate friends.
Lately they have had a couple of power failures. Both times the machine
has stoped and required a manual fsck. In my experience, most UN*X
setips do an automatick fsk -y, and only insist on a manual one if
things are really bad.
Bothe times the damage was slight. So here is my question. Is there
some configuration setting I need to change to make the RedHat box
attempt a fsck upon finding unclean filesystems on bootup? RedHat 6.0,
if it matters.
Thanks for the feedback.
