I seem to remember some discussion of this a couple weeks ago on the
linux-kernel list. Some other's experienced problems with that
combo. From what I remember,
people running Alan Cox´s: 2.2.14pre6 with Andre Hedrick´s: ide111199
patch did not have problems.
