rpm or me ??

Hi,
The following dialog ws produced after I was tinkering with rpm since
kdevelop was not working as expected....

[root@arni arni]# rpm -e kdevelop-1.0beta4.1-1.i386.rpm
error: package kdevelop-1.0beta4.1-1.i386.rpm is not installed

[root@arni arni]# rpm -i kdevelop-1.0beta4.1-1.i386.rpm
error: package kdevelop-1.0beta4.1-1 is already installed

why this wierdness..??
