Your monitor configuration is present in /etc/X11/XF86Config file. The section dealing with monitors is in the "Screen Section" In the "Colour svga server section" and the "accelerated server section", the resolution 1024 x 768 will be present. Just delete this and add "800 x 600", if that is not already present. This should do the job. Another method is to toggle between different resolutions using Ctrl + Alt + + (Control-Alt-Plus) keys. This will toggle between the different resolutions mentioned in your XF86Config file. As for changing the font, it is available in the 'Options' menu. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephen Liu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, November 27, 1999 12:07 PM Subject: Change of monitor resolution and font size in xterm windows > Hi everybody, > > Kindly advise how to; > > 1) change 1024 x 768 resolution to 800 x 600 > 2) change of font size in xterm windows > > Thanks in advance > > B.R. > Stephen Liu > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
