LREDIR under DOS/XDOS error.

LREDIR under DOS/XDOS error.

When I use command 

       LREDIR X: LINUX/FS/usr
       
       
I receive error

       Error xxxx redirecting drive X: to LINUX/FS/usr
       
           (or whatever directory besides /usr)
           

Anyone know how to fix this?  I see I have FreeDOS v.72b
