I am trying to set up my linux box to work with @home cable modem. In CT
@ home uses static IP's. I have read the Cable-HOWTO but have not found
it helpful. I used linuxconf to set up eth0 and all info is correct.
Resolver Config is set to DNS required w/ both servers IP's
Under routing and gateways Defaults is set to the gateway's IP w/
enanble routing selected
That's it. When I try and ping my DNS server I see the send and receive
lights on the cable modem going nuts and I get Destination Host
Unreachable and when I check it with a win98 box it is up.
WHat am I missing???
