The only way I was able (and was told by some informed persons up
here to do so) to get rhl 6.x samba to work - that is, to get a Windoze
box to connect - was with security=share. The older 5.2 defaults
to security=user and share does not work for me on the older.... Yet
currently, my 5.2/6.x both can samba with each other, but widoze
can only dance with 6.x. Gives IPC$ password error connecting
to 5.2 samba.
