transparent bridging .. (I think thats what it's called)

Anyone know how to setup (if possible) a transparent bridge using linux?

basically need my network to look like this without subnetting...

[ DSL router ]---[ linux bridge ]-----[  DNS/SMTP/HTTP machine ]
                 eth0          eth1

I know freebsd can do it . Wondering if linux can.
