Hi,
I have kids 2 1/2, 5, 8 and 10 and I have found several games
one is lletters I found it at http://www.seul.org/edu/software.html
It has pictures that fill the screen when you type any letter. It does
have a small bug sometimes you have to hit the letter twice. When
things slow down I intend to try and fix it, but my 2 1/2 year old and 5
year old love it. You can also add your own pictures according
to the docs again I haven't got around to trying it yet. I also down
loaded a bunch of games from http://linuxapps.com/
Ace of Penguins 1.1 is one my kids love it has minesweepers,
mastermind, taipei , a peg game I found alot of the ones they
like under http://linuxapps.com/?page=category&category=game-puzzles
their is one calle groundhog or some such thing that move balls through a
maze that the older kids like. I downloaded 5 or 6 apps the other day
since I am going to try to set up a trial network and I want the kids to
help
me try it out. Hope this helps. (Incedently there were not games listed in
the kid category so you just have to hunt around) I think I also so a
picture
one where you move the blocks to make a picutre.
                   Linda
