Anyone get TN5250 to work in GNOME or KDE?

Hello,

I cannot get TN5250 to function correctly. I can start a session, but the
screen is not refreshed properly and the function keys are not working as well.

Has anyone been sucessful? What are the settings?
I have had no problems running
in Open Linux 2.3. I would like to get my Red Hat 6.1 version working.
