I bought an APC 950VA UPS a few years ago. Where I live, in the French
alps, we have almost daily thunderstorms during the month of August,
with electrical black-outs coming as sure as spam e-mail.
I had to pay quite a high price for my UPS here in Europe. But, it's
been amortized many times over. :-) Couldn't 'survive' without it. :-)
