hi folks, my current configuration consists of an IBM ThinkPad 600E running RedHat 6.1, kernel 2.2.13. the problem that i'm experiencing is that i get a long list of unresolved module dependencies during bootup and a few "modprobe: out of file handle" messages. though all module related functions (sound, pcmcia, fat/dos emulation) seem to work fine. i cannot find a copy of the messages in any of /var/log/*, to be able to take a closer look and any documentation that i've looked at (HOWTO's, man pages, "Running Linux") doesn't seem to have a lot of detailed information re: conf.modules, etc. any assistance as to where i can find more info would be appreciated! cheers! scott -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
