up2date problems

Has anyone else had problems with up2date lately?  The last few times I
tried to access it, it told that I had to pay money for
priority.redhat.com.  I knew that would eventually happen, so I changed
to ftp.redhat.com and updates.redhat.com and it said there was an error
retrieving packages on both.  How can I, who is not a registered
customer, use up2date on a non-priority basis?
