I'm also facing the same problem. It only surfaces when i use X.
So i suspect it to be the graphics card, even though windows could work
with it.
my Xconfigurator gave me an error when i tried to test the basic resolutions of
800x600 or 640x480 at 8bpp. Just for note, its a taiwan S3Virge with 4mb.
Is there any help for getting remote X to work on win 9x servers?
I'm literally lost and i don't think there is any guide around.
