PPP connection

hi everybody oout there using red hat linux 6.0 i am new to this Linux,,,and i would really apperciate some help  about establishing a pp connection to the internet,,,, i don't have a winmodem,,my modem is 33600,,,so i guess there may not be a problem with the modem     thanx for all
