Hi, i have never noticed it but the /etc/ppp/ip-up and /etc/ppp/ip-down scripts seem to be broken. It runs the ifup( and down)-${LOGDEVICE} and LOGDEVICE=$6 However, pppd only only passes 5 parameters to the ip-(up/down) scripts. So if you append the end of the line with 2>/var/log/ip-ppp.err You get an err reading that "ip- " dose not exist. Dose anyone know what the myster variable is suppose to be? Or maybe what is the ip-down and ip-up scripts suppose to be doing? -- robert canary system services OhioCounty.Net [EMAIL PROTECTED] (270)298-9331 Office (270)298-7449 Fax -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
