BRU and two tape drives

Hi all .. I read that BRU can use two tape drives and when one fills up 
the backup will spill over to the other drive. 

Has anyone actually done this? 
How well does it work? 

I have good confidence in BRU, but hope someone who has actually used 
this could tell me how well it works for them.
