hi guys. i downloaded and installed RealPlayer 7.0.0.170, and
configured it (i think) according to the instructions on the real.com
website.
now, whenever i click on a .rm or .ram file, the RealPlayer window
opens. and that's it. nothing. it doesn't start to stream or buffer.
if i click on File, Open Location, it will begin buffering. after a
while though, it just stops. it still says its buffering, but my modem
lights show no activity. as a test, i let it set for about 45 minutes
and nothing changed.
does anyone have an idea as to how i should pursue this? i'd love to
get sound working when i'm on the 'net.
