I use DirectLink (www.directlink.com), they are a bit pricy, but their
service is very good. I've been using them since January 1999. I don't
think they will help you configure your Linux system, but they don't
care what OS you run. My telco provider is GTE, they install an
external box, you just need a NIC. I think DirectLink works with
SWBell now too, so which ever one you have in your area should work. I
think SWBell uses the external box as well, so you should only need a
NIC card for them as well.
You might want to join the North Texas LUG's discussion mailing list
(www.ntlug.org) and ask that question. You will get LOTS of help
there.
