Lilo be gone

I am in real trouble and would appreciate some help.

    In trying to install Linux Red Hat 6.1, I managed to screw up

the lilo boot loader so that I cannot get to my window's partition.

Can anyone tell me how to get to the lilo and delete it?  I am able

to use the text command line in Linux, not X.
