Thanks to Charles Galpin and Manuel Camacho and Mikkel Ellertson for
advising me that I could "cancel" the 6.2 request for a "drivers" disk.

I did that and the 6.2 install went the smoothest of any RHL install I
have done yet. And I'm not an expert by any means. What made it go
well was the boot floppy supplied in the "Standard RHL" package and
the "back" selection option that allows portions of the install to
be redone or at least reviewed. I used the default screens (not the
"text" selection) and I used fdisk, since I feel comfortable with it.
I needed the "back" selection because I had to create new partitions
on two hard drives, and only one can be selected at a time.

The only lingering question is why the boot.img floppies dd'd from
the imgages on the 5.1 and 5.2 CD's wouldn't work. If RedHat hadn't
supplied a boot floppy, probably this install would have failed just
like the others have.

Does *anybody* understand this boot.img problem?

Thank you RedHat.
