Agreed. Note I never mentioned it was perfect!
In fact, sometimes viewing Windows desktops from Windows (especially if
lotsa processing is going on on the host machine), causes the viewing client
to 'break off' (no response from the host at all). The remote doesn't lock
up (luckily), but sometimes can't re-connect to the host either (damn).
It has it's flaws, for sure, but I have to say I really like it for viewing
X-Windows from Linux boxes. I can't really recall ever having any problems
with it.
