Hi there! I'm trying to set up a directory on our NFS server to install RedHat-Linux over NFS. I've downloaded the bootnet image (ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.2/images/i386/bootnet-20000407.img) and created the boot diskette (dd if=bootnet-20000407.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k). But when I boot from the diskette then after selecting the "NFS image" installation method, configuring TCP/IP, and NFS setup, the installation crashes with the error messages: /tmp/raid1.o: a module named raid1 already exists /tmp/raid5.o: a module named raid5 already exists /tmp/fat.o: a module named fat already exists /tmp/vfat.o: a module named vfat already exists exec: Permission denied install exited abnormally ... The same bootnet diskette works fine when doing an FTP installation. Also I can mount the NFS directory with the redhat distribution without problems (actually, if you make a mistake in the NFS setup, you get an error message that the directory cannot be mounted or something like that; you never crash out of the installation program). So what am I missing here? Has anybody found a workaround that allow an NFS installation? Any suggestions, comment are greatfully appreciated.
