Are these errors on your newly compiled kernel? Typically, CRC errors
when uncompressing are a result of compiling a kernel using "make boot"
instead of "make bzImage". I think this is because the standard
compressed image is too big for lilo (or something like that). Which
image are you creating? And if it is the new kernel that is failing, you
saved the previous working kernel image and have a lilo entry for it?
