Hows this for clueless Tech Support --
I downloaded and installed the binary-only distro of Yahoo
Messenger for linux (yes, there's an official BETA version
of their chat client out for linux now <G>) I noticed some
problems and filled out there "comments" form on their web
site explaining what the problem was and what caused it,
and included the fact that I'm running RedHat LINUX version
6.2...

So they send me a message back, asking for the EXACT error
message I get. Well, when I run it from the desktop
shortcut, I don't get an error message, but I have gotten
an error message when running if from a Konsole window, so
I give 'em that, and remind them once again that I'm
running RedHat LINUX version 6.2

Today, I receive an email from them stating something to
the effect of "Oh, THAT problem. That's solved in the
latest beta, which you can download here" followed by a
link to a web site. Well, that's all fine and dandy, but
the link they gave me isn't valid, because it's for the
Windows-only Beta version. :-)

Talk about clueless....they send me a link for a WINDOWS
version when I'm complaining about the linux version....
:-) So I sent 'em a nice little note explaing that they
must be blind 'cause I clearly stated I'm running Linux...
:-)

We'll see how many tries it takes before they realize I'm
running linux. :-)
