I just built four workstations for our NOC with Intel i810 boards running
Xserver v3.3.6 and RedHat 6.2.

Read this web page @ intel.com:

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel810/linuxinstal.htm

Follow the steps and you will be fine. You will need to download their
xserver and agpgart.o. If you run into trouble let me know....I pretty much
found all the bugs....

Subject: Intel i810 + X = nothing

Hi All

I've read the XFree86 page on this chipset, built the arpgart.o module
after hacking the Makefile to detect the kernel properly, inserted the
module, modified the XF config fle, then run startx, and it still craps out.

Anyone who has this chipset working, please contact me. As an interesting
side note, AccellX doesn't support this card at all, either.

Thanks

...Mike
