I am sure there is a limit, but I have a 30 GB drive split up as 10 Megs for
the Boot partition, 128 Megs for the swap, and the rest for the root
partition. No problems here.

Subject: Largest partition possible for RH 6.2
I have always installed RH on fairly small HDs. Now I am going to put
together a new machine with a 30 GB Maxtor. What is the largest
partition that I can use? This machine is for learning html, c, python,
and PHP. I am planning on making as few partitions as possible and will
allow all sorts of coding attempts to accumulate until . . . .
Thanks,
Bob Hartung
