Yuo have to edit the login.def file ( /etc/login.def in
a standard RedHat distrib).
You'll have to change the PASS_MIN_LEN line which is
set to 5 by default.
If you want to improve security, I'ld suggest you take a
good look at the rest of the file to see if there are more
changes you want to make.
