Well I don't know what they are doing but if I search for 'procps' it
suggests I use procps-2.0.7-3

Then when I try to download it (and get past all the 'anonymous user limit
reached') I get the error:

Netscape is unable to find the file or directory 'named
/pub/redhat/redhat-7.0/i386/RedHat/RPMS/procps-2.0.7-3.i386.rpm'

This happens even if I login with my support handle btw. Seems that the file
just isn't there, but they don't offer me any viable alternatives which are
a higher version than the one I'm running. In fact I can't even get the same
version.

The other thing is the RPMs are for 7.0, I don't seem to be able to find the
area to download 6.2 RPMs anymore. Ideas??

Chris

Chris:

I was in the middle of a 56K modem download from ftp.redhat.com of the first
.iso image and the entire ftp stopped. I reconnected and there was nothing
in the iso directory to download. I have just tried recently and now I see a
/iso a file called 7.0-respin-disc1.iso with date of 10/11/00 and time of
10:30 or so. So now I am restarting after 2 days of ftp with this .iso
image.
Possibly they are uploading a new image to correct multiple bugs I assume
and also the /RPM directory. I am downloading now, you might want to retry
if your still on.

I've been trying this evening to update various RPMs and have found that all
RPMs on the RedHat web site seem to point to the new 7.x code, but none are
available.

Everytime I try to select one for download, it comes back with 'not found'.

Anyone else having the same trouble?

Chris
