By any chance, did you install both the 2.0pre-RPMs that came with 7.0 and
the release ones? If so, deinstall the 2.0pre ones.
They go to a different location so they can coexist with KDE 1.1.x.

kmenuedit probably isn't aware of /etc/kderc (and therefore doesn't see
the non-KDE applications with menu entries in /etc/X11/applnk). I'll take
a look at this.

The KDE menu is the same as the directory structure in
/usr/share/applnk. As of KDE 2.0, the directory structure from
/etc/X11/applnk is merged in.
