I'd like to run a daemon as non-root. How can I do this? In this specific example, I have /etc/rc.d/init.d/interbase with the following entry: daemon /usr/interbase/bin/ibmgr -start -password $PASSWORD Right now, it ends up running as root and I'd like to change it to the user interbase. Thanks in advance =) -Ed _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
